Welcome to the lab, Natalie and Ava!

We are excited to welcome two new Clinical Research Coordinators to the Loggia Lab.

Natalie Swanson (left) is originally from Minnesota and completed her undergraduate education at Pomona College in California graduating with a degree in neuroscience in May, 2023. Read more about her here.

Ava Axelrod (right) hails from California and completed her undergraduate education at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, graduating in May of 2023 with a B.S in neuroscience and a minor in philosophy. Read more about her here.

Natalie is working on two of our projects, one investigating neuroinflammation related to breast cancer, and another on spinal cord stimulators. Ava is working on our lab’s clinical trial that is investigating if CBD (cannabidiol) is effective for chronic lower back pain and decreasing neuroinflammation. We are super excited to have both of these amazing people join our lab!
