Postdoctoral Research Fellow

I received my PhD in Experimental Psychology, School of Biological Sciences, from the University of Cambridge in February, 2024. During my PhD, I used a combination of behavioral tasks and EEG to understand the individual differences and psychosocial factors that influenced empathy for pain. In addition, I taught statistics and programming modules at the Bioinformatics Training Facility within the School of Biological Sciences, as well as mentored undergraduate thesis students. Finally, supported by the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies, I completed a training stay at the Social, Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Unit, University of Vienna. I am currently a research fellow at the Loggia Lab focusing on spinal cord stimulation implants. As I am particularly interested in learning and applying innovative neuroimaging techniques to understand pain perceptions, I very much look forward to building foundational skills, learning from and collaborating with other lab members.
